The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) is looking into individuals who deliberately shared a fake medical record supposedly detailing President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s health condition.

Malacañang issued the statement a day after an alleged leaked copy of the President’s medical report — claiming that the Chief Executive may need surgery to address his diverticulitis — went viral on social media.

The Palace has repeatedly asserted that the President is in good condition and continues to work, denying the supposed medical report’s claim that Marcos may be suffering from fatty liver and osteoporosis.

St. Luke’s Medical Center — the private hospital where Marcos Jr. was brought last week — affirmed Malacañang’s statement that the medical report that circulated online was fake.
