A survey by Pulse Asia Research, commissioned by Stratbase Group shows that Vice President Sara Duterte continued to lead both the 2028 presidential preference rankings and net satisfaction ratings

The latest separate nationwide surveys results showed that 51 percent of Filipinos would vote for Duterte if the May 2028 presidential elections were held during the survey period.

Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo, a former vice president, came in second with 43 percent of respondents saying they would vote for her.

Meanwhile, a survey conducted by Social Weather Stations from March 24 to 31 found 54 percent of respondents saying they were satisfied with Duterte’s performance.

Senate President Vicente ”Tito” Sotto III, with a 44-percent satisfaction rating, came in second.

The surveys were conducted before the impeachment proceedings against Duterte began at the House of Representatives.

The House has since impeached her and the Senate has convened as an impeachment court for trial.

Duterte has until Monday to file her answer to the Articles of Impeachment against her, the Office of the Senate Secretary said.

Duterte can respond personally, through counsel or through e-mail.
