My 2013 Peugeot 3008 still has no license plate. I got it in 2014 and the Land Transportation Office (LTO) still has not released any license plate to this day, nor do they answer my questions when I ask them. I get as far as “we are processing it already” but get no answer for the “what possible date po kaya” question.
Well it seems the current Director of LTO, Assistant Secretary Edgar Galvante has finally got an answer for me. According to Galvante, we may start getting our license plates by March of 2018. He said they have finally bidded out the procurement of the plates to the Trojan Computer Forms Manufacturing Corporation and J.H. Tonnjes E.A.S.T. GmbH & Co. KG Joint Venture.
Galvante said the Department of Transportation has alloted P978.8 million for this project and assures everyone that they will solve this issue.

What is not clear yet is how long the process will take beginning March of 2018 before I can get my hands on an actual license plate and attach it to my car.
Although, truth to tell, the 3008 badge where the plate should be looks so much better.
