Vice President Sara Duterte said that she will continue to fight against the greed of certain high-ranking officials in the government.

Duterte made the commitment as she released the Office of the Vice President’s (OVP) year-end report, highlighting her office’s accomplishments in each of the programs it implemented this 2025.

According to Duterte, the OVP’s free bus ride program served 875,176 commuters nationwide from January to October.

She said that the OVP also provided medical assistance to 4,643 individuals, and burial assistance to 1,377 beneficiaries.

The OVP’s Disaster Operations Center, she added, also extended help to 73,054 families who were affected by calamities.

Specifically, Duterte said that her office was able to distribute 2,514 bags of 25-kilo rice for those affected by the 6.9 magnitude earthquake in Cebu and the eruption of Kanlaon Volcano on Negros Island.

The OVP’s “Mag Negosyo Ta ‘Day” program also supported 15 groups and 2,245 aspiring entrepreneurs, she said.

Duterte further said that for this year, the OVP distributed 460,272 PagbaBAGo bags, and reached its goal of planting a million trees.
