Back to back NBA Champions Golden State Warriors has announced the signing of a renewal contract by Steve Kerr to remain as their head coach.

Warriors General Manager and President for Basketball Operations Bob Myers said he is happy that Kerr will continue to be part of the champion team in the next few years.

Myers praised Kerr for his role in getting the Warriors three championship including a back to back win for this year and last season. He says the key to the Golden State win is Kerr’s ability to be an exceptional coach.

Kerr first signed up as head coach for the Warriors in May 19, 2015. He was 52-years-old then. His salary is not public but is believed to be in the 8-figures level.
