The sequential opening of bus routes is based on the gradual, calibrated, and in phases approach the government is using to bring back public transportation to commuters.

The Transportation Deoartment said the daily adjustment being done by the government is to ensure service returns to our commuters without sacrificing their health and safety.

This is in compliance with the order of the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) and DOTr to slowly return the operation of public transportation.

The LTFRB reminded operators and drivers of PUB’s to strictly follow the protocols enumerated in MC 2020-018 to avoid spreading COVID-19. These include the wearing of face masks and gloves, cleaning of bus units before and after every travel, the installation non-permeable and transparent metrials as dividers and compliance with passenger seating capacity based on guidelines fromATF-EID and the DOTr.
