The Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) and Land Transportation Office (LTO) held a free seminar today, 12 March 2022 (Saturday), for Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) drivers who need to renew their license. The said seminar, which is now a requirement for driver’s license application/renewal, was followed by an Online Validation Exam that will determine if an applicant can get a license or not.

About 50 drivers from various bus and jeepney companies operating in PITX joined the seminar conducted by Mr. Joseph Importante, OIC of DLRO SM Southmall Las Pinas. Topics discussed include:

• Road Safety
o Defensive Driving Techniques
o Traffic Laws, Rules, and Regulations

• LTMS Portal Registration
• Comprehensive Driver’s Education“Nagpapasalamat kami sa LTO, lalo na sa LTO-PITX, para sa paglapit ng serbisyong ito sa mga mahal nating tsuper. Malaking bagay na nabigyan sila ng eksklusibong seminar ng ahensya sa araw ng Sabado, dahil napakahalaga ng bawat oras ng mga drivers natin dala ng kanilang pang-araw-araw na trabaho sa kalsada,” said Mr. Jason Salvador, PITX Corporate Affairs and Gov’t Relations Head.

  LTO inaugurated the LTO-PITX Paranaque Licensing Center on February 23, 2022 to provide the public with better access to the agency’s licensing services. Operating daily on weekdays from 8AM to 5PM, the Licensing Center is open only for walk-in transactions.

  LTO on Wheels

  Aside from license transactions, LTO has been providing vehicle registration services in PITX through its mobile arm, LTO on Wheels.

  LTO on Wheels visits the landport monthly on Saturdays to offer the following services:

• MV Registration Renewal
• Emission Testing
• Third Party Insurance (TPL)According to LTO, there are also plans to add registration services in LTO-PITX Paranaque Licensing Center soon.

  “Patuloy kaming makikipagtulungan sa iba’t ibang ahensya at organisasyon para mailapit ang mga ganitong serbisyo sa tao. Para man yan sa mga pasahero o mga tsuper natin, bukas palagi ang PITX bilang partner ng gobyerno sa pagsasaayos at pagpapadali ng buhay ng publiko,” said Mr. Salvador.
