PBBM did not mention sister Imee in Cavite senatorial campaign speech

President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. skips mentioning his elder sister, re-electionist Senator Imee Marcos during Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas senatorial campaign in Cavite province.
During his speech, the president mention all the names of the senatorial candidates under the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas Banner except his sister Imee.
He mentioned Camille Villar even if like the president’s sister, Villar was also absent from the sortie.
Reelectionist Pia Cayetano, who missed the sortie last week in Marcos’ bailiwick in Tacloban City, Leyte, was present in Cavite.
The speech came hours after Senator Marcos announced she would rather focus on the arrest of former President Rodrigo Duterte whom the Marcos administration surrendered to the International Criminal Court.
Senator Imee Marcos remains an ally of the former President, who allowed the burial of their father, Ferdinand Marcos Sr., at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.
Imee Marcos, being the chairman for the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations hold an investigation on the controversial arrest, wherein he fellow Senators grilled members of the administration.
Senator Marcos’ name and image however figured prominently in the campaign posters, billboard and paraphernalia at the event. The lawmaker has rejected the government’s arrest of the former leader–the latest in a series of public disagreements with her brother’s government.
