Philippine Airlines has sent another flight to Beijing to pick up another batch of vaccines.

PAL said an A330 (RP-C8789) is now on its way to Beijing to fetch and carry home the third batch of government-purchased vaccines (Sinovac) totaling 500K doses to be used in the country’s ongoing fight vs. covid19.

Capt. Rey Hembrador is pilot-in-commnd, assisted by First Officer Vincent Alcanzare and Second Officer Benjo Candungan. Cabin crew/Chinese interpreter Eric Chan completes the flight crew roster.

PR358 took off from NAIA at 7:10AM and is expected to touch down at Beijing Capital International Airport at 11:55AM (local time/ETA). After an estimated 1-hour ground time, PR359 takes off for Manila with an expected arrival at 5:50PM.

This mission will bring the total number of vaccine doses flown in by PAL to 2.4 million.
