NutriAsia Inc., the leading manufacturer and distributor of iconic Pinoy condiments, opened its
“Bring Your Own Bottle” (BYOB) pop-up store at The Mind Museum in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig,
on August 1.

The BYOB campaign aims to reduce plastic waste, as consumers are required to bring their own
clean empty bottles to get a refill of condiments, sauces and cooking oils at discounted prices.
A refill of Datu Puti vinegar costs P0.014 per gram; Datu Puti soy sauce, P0.019/g; and UFC Banana
Catsup, P0.034/g.

For cooking oils, the store offers Golden Fiesta Palm Oil for P0.086 per gram, Golden Fiesta Soya Oil
for P0.130/g, Golden Fiesta Canola Oil for P0.125/g and Golden Fiesta Corn Oil for P0.162/g. The
refill is 5-15% cheaper than the products available in the market.

Other NutriAsia products in eco-friendly packaging, such as Locally Juices, Locally Merci Buco and
Datu Puti Spiced Vinegar, are also sold at the refilling station with discount of up to 40%.

The refilling station also accepts used plastic materials, such as empty sachets, snack packs, plastic
utensils, bottles and containers. These will be upcycled to produce tables, chairs and other
furnishings for GAT Andres Bonifacio High School in Taguig. NutriAsia targets to donate at least 300
chairs to the school.

“NutriAsia has been a trusted partner of every Filipino home in making ‘Masarap, Masaya’ meals.
And with BYOB, we hope to go beyond and create more ‘Masarap, Masaya’ moments by encouraging
shoppers to help build a zero-waste community in their own ways,” said James Lim, NutriAsia
Corporate Marketing and Communications Head.

Since 2014, NutriAsia has been participating in various refilling initiatives, including the campaign
to create a zero-waste community. It led the Jumbohalang Tambalan and supported the Refill
Revolution initiative of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources in Central Luzon.
