New NAIA Terminal Assignments 2018

For travelers to and in the Philippines, effective 31 August 2018, the country’s premier gateway will implement a new system of terminal assignments for the different airlines using the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

These is part of the airport rationalization program initiated by NAIA General Manager Ed Monreal. In an earlier interview over Good Morning Inquirer of DZIQ 990AM radio, Monreal said there are terminals being used for a purpose it was not built for.

Monreal was referring to NAIA Terminal 2 which now house both domestic and international flights of Philippine Airlines but was really built to service only domestic flights. Beginning August 31, 2018, NAIA T2 will now house the domestic flights of both PAL and Cebu Pacific.
