MRT3 extends operations starting today

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) announced that the Metro Rail Transit – Line 3 (MRT3) starts its extended operations on today.
The MRT3 operations will be extended by an hour from Monday to Friday.
During peak hours, the MRT3 will also add trains to serve passengers.
Earlier, transportation Secretary Vince Dizon urged the management of MRT3 to extend its evening operations by an hour.
“This is for passenger welfare. We want to make the commuting public lives’ easier… That’s the easiest [way], increasing the operating hours by two hours ang laking bagay no’n ah in terms of pila (that would be a big deal in terms of reducing lines of passengers),” the Transportation chief said.
