More Fun With More Honda Bikes
Today, December 9 2017, Honda Motorcycles in the Philippines unveiled their big bike line-up for 2018 and they are gorgeous.
These bikes are meant for thrill seekers that want to go on adventures and need rides that are tougher with higher engine capacities.
A total of eight (8) new big bikes were introduced to the crowd of enthusiasts present at the formal launch at Shangri-La The Fort. These bikes are categorized in four types: Travel, Sport/Racer, Roadster, and New Adventure.
These bikes should put the competition on its toes. Here are some of them!!!
CB500X – a mid-displacement bike designed for all-around use and for handling of all terrain rides, from city commutes or ride on unpaved and open roads. The liquid-cooled, 471cc parallel-twin engine is suited for both short and long distance rides while also being fuel efficient. (P379,000)
CRF1000L Africa Twin – has a 998cc liquid cooled, four stroke, parallel twin engines and Honda Selective Torque Control for effective power delivery in a wide range of road conditions. It was also built with Biaxial Counterbalance for strength and handling that delivers smooth and vibration free ride. (P854,000)
CBR500R – is infused with a next level, inline-twin 471cc engine with power suitable for racing. It has middleweight sports bike has aerodynamic fairing and especially designed air ducts all the way to the two-channel ABS and 41mm SDBV telescopic fork. (P379,000)
Rebel 500 – functions for both laid-back cruising and more active sport riding with its rider’s triangle, 471cc liquid-cooled, parallel twin cylinder, four stroke engine tucked in a low chassis, and minimalist design. (P369,000)
CB650F – is a middleweight naked street style motorcycle with a notable exhaust pipes that wrap around its four cylinder, 649cc, DOHC inline engine mated to a 6-speed ratio gearbox. It also has a two-channel ABS, a 41mm SDBV telescopic fork and a fully adjustable Showa suspension for a smoother riding. (P459,000)
X-ADV – is designed to have the stability of a scooter and the power and toughness of an off-road motorcycle. The X-ADV has a unique crossover platform. It is built around a strong, tubular steel chassis and has a 745cc twin cylinder angine and a Dual Clutch Transmission. (P799,000)
CBR1000RR Fireblade SP – will arrive in 2018. It is designed with MotoGP DNA. Negineered to have lightness, precision and totally controllable handling due to its Selectable Torque Control, Selectable Engine Break, new ABS Brakes, Quickshifter, Riding Mode Select System, Power Selector, and an Ohlins Smart EC Suspension. CB1100EX – will arrive in 2018. It has a classic design integrating modern features with its seamless fuel tank, deep chrome exhausts, 17-inch cast aluminum wheels and hand-built look. It was built with an air-cooled, inline four cylinder, 1140cc engine, a 6-speed transmission, two piece fork, remote reservoir rear shock, four pistons caliper brakes, floating discs, and a sharper chassis.
