Marcos nixed call for him to resign

President Ferdinand ”Bongbong” Marcos Jr. dismissed calls for him to resign.
“Why should I do that? It’s not my style to run away from problems”, Marcos said.
Marcos reply to the Philippine media delegation. He was responding to a query about his critics calling him to quit from his post after he sought the courtesy resignation of government officials.
Marcos said his call for Cabinet members to tender courtesy resignation aims to “recalibrate” his administration following the midterm polls.
The President did not accept the resignation of Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, who recently disclosed changes in the Cabinet posts.
