MANIBELA set a 3-day nationwide transport strike next week

Transport group MANIBELA will hold a three-day transport strike from next week in protest of the government’s PUV modernization program.
In a press conference, MANIBELA’s Chairman Mar Valbuena accuse Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board misinformation, when it said that 86% of public utility vehicle operators and drivers have consolidated for the PUV modernization program.
The nationwide transport strike will start March 24 to 26, 2025, but it could be extended depending on the action of the government agency.
He said the figures given by the LTFRB were a lie so MANIBELA called on Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon to remove LTFRB officials from post.
