LTO opens licensing center at PITX
The newly inaugurated licensing center of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) at the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) is now open and ready to serve the public.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) said the new licensing center can assist those who need a student permit, a new driver’s license, and renewal of license through the Land Transportation Management System (LTMS) portal.
The center can also help those who need an additional restriction code for their driver’s license, have their classification changed from non-professional to professional, and vice versa.
“Layunin ng bagong proyektong ito na makapagbigay ng mas mabilis at maginhawang serbisyo sa pamamagitan ng pagtatayo ng LTO Licensing Center para sa ating mga pasahero sa PITX, mga kababayang overseas Filipino workers (OFW), at maging mga residente sa mga kalapit na siyudad kabilang ang Region 4-A (This new project aims to provide faster and more convenient service through the establishment of the LTO Licensing Center to PITX passengers, OFWs, and residents of nearby cities such as those in Region IV-A),” the DOTr said.
During the center’s inauguration on Wednesday, DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade said the new licensing center was established to bring government service closer to the people.
“Sinabi ng ating mahal na Pangulo (As our beloved President said), make the Filipino life comfortable,” Tugade said.
