OCTA Research’s Tugon ng Masa (TNM) survey release Tuesday shows the trust and performance rating of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. dipped to 60% , while Vice President Sara Duterte improved to 58% in April 2025.

According to the OCTA survey Marcos got a trust rating of 60% and a performance rating of 59% respectively are lower compared to Marcos’ 65% trust rating in the 4th Quarter 2024 TNM survey and 64% performance rating in the November 2024 TNM survey.

“This marks the lowest trust rating for President Marcos Jr. since the first quarter of 2024…A downward trend in his satisfaction ratings was observed since the July 2024 TNM Survey,” OCTA said.

OCTA also said that “Despite declining ratings, most adult Filipinos continue to express trust and approval for the performance of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.”

Meanwhile, Duterte received a trust rating of 58% and a performance rating of 56%. These are higher compared to her 49% trust rating in the 4th Quarter 2024 survey and 48% performance rating in the November 2025 TNM survey.

“These increases mark a clear reversal of the downward trend since December 2023. This shift (on trust rating) departs from the downward trend observed from March 2023 to November 2024, during which her highest trust rating reached around 87%,” OCTA said.

The non-commissioned survey on the Trust and Performance Ratings of Top Government Officials was conducted from April 2 to 5 through face-to-face interviews.

A total of 1,200 male and female probability respondents aged 18 and above were interviewed for the study.

The survey has a ±3% margin of error at a 95% confidence level.
