Senator Christopher “Bong” Go has lauded the “Duterte Legacy” for providing a more comfortable life for all through various infrastructure projects throughout the country under its Build Build Build programs. He attended, together with President Rodrigo Duterte, the inauguration of the Bonifacio Global City-Ortigas Center Link Road Project in Taguig City on Thursday, September 30.

“Masaya po tayo sa pagbubukas ng BGC-Ortigas Center Link Road Project na layuning mas pabilisin ang biyahe sa Kamaynilaan at masolusyunan ang problema sa trapiko,” said Go. 

“Layunin ng mga proyektong magbigay ng mas komportableng buhay para sa mga Pilipino. Parte po ang mga malalaking proyektong ito sa pamana ng ating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte,” he added.

The BGC-Ortigas Center Link Road aims to reduce the travel time between BGC and Ortigas Center from one hour to 12 minutes. It is also expected to reduce traffic congestion by 20% on EDSA and C-5 Road.

Duterte praised the project in his speech at the ceremony, saying that it occurred at a time when the country was still healing from the economic burden of the COVID-19 pandemic and safely reviving economic activity.

“Indeed, this achievement will provide substantial and long-lasting benefits to various businesses, motorists, and ordinary Filipino,” he said.
