Presidential spokesman Harry Roque on Thursday announced that President Rodrigo Duterte will declare on 15 June whether the general community quarantine (GCQ) currently enforced in Metro Manila will be further downgraded to modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) or will revert back to modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ).

In a statement, the Palace official also advised the public not to immediately believe the leaked documents sent out by individuals because nothing is definite unless it has been announced by the Chief Executive.

Roque also noted that the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) has an initial recommendation to President Duterte but this is also not yet final.
