DND chief says China has interest to meddle in elections

Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro said China has an interest in meddling in the Philippine elections.
China has an interest in interfering with our elections. It’s obvious that they are meddling and that is in their DNA, it’s always there not only with China but also non-state rogue actors, Teodoro said.
China was born in 1949 in a revolution and the mission statement of Mao Tse Tung is to spread the revolution worldwide, continuous revolution. He added
Last April, National Security Council spokesperson Assistant Director General Jonathan Malaya told a Senate committee inquiry that there are indications China was interfering with the Philippines’ midterm elections.
Although, China has denied the allegations.
Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said, “China follows the principle of non-interference in other countries’ domestic affairs.”
“We have no interest in interfering in Philippine elections.”
Teodoro said China was conducting “united front works” adding that Beijing even had a government department for these operations.
According to Teodoro, China is doing this through “illegal, coercive, aggressive and deceptive” actions.
