The Department of Education said it will start giving year-end incentives to one million DepEd personnel nationwide.

DepEd said the incentives include the Service Recognition Incentive (SRI), the Productivity Enhancement Incentive (PEI), the Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) incentive for eligible personnel, and gratuity pay for contract-based workers.

“In total, the incentive package covers around 1 million DepEd employees nationwide, with teachers and non-teaching personnel receiving PhP20,000 SRI and PhP5,000 PEI, non-teaching staff set to receive an additional Php10,000 CNA incentive, and contract of service and job order workers getting up to Php7,000 in gratuity pay, depending on length of service,” the DepEd said.

The SRI will be paid in parts, with the initial release this December of P10,000 to P14,500 per eligible employee. The balance of the SRI will be paid “after the approval of the request for modification of allotments,” the department said.

According to DepEd, those qualified to receive SRI are department personnel with regular, contractual, and co-terminus appointments across central, regional, division, and school offices.

The PEI meanwhile will be given to eligible personnel as per Executive Order No. 201.

DepEd workers engaged through Contract of Service and Job Order arrangements on the other hand will receive gratuity pay amounting to P4,000 to P7,000, depending on their length of service. This will be released by the DepEd Central Office and regional offices.

Meanwhile, the P10,000 CNA incentive to be granted to eligible non-teaching personnel with regular, contractual, and co-terminus appointments will be released in January 2026, the DepEd said.
