Boracay ban revelries on Good Friday

Malay, Aklan local government banned revelries in Boracay starting good Friday in solemn observation of the Holy Week.
The local government authorities will prohibit establishments from opening their bars, holding parties, and playing loud music from 6 a.m. of Friday until 6 a.m. of Black Saturday.
Despite the banned in parties and loud music, tourists can still enjoy various beach and water activities, others also seek to observe the spiritual aspect of Holy Week.
Meanwhile, the staff of Boracay’s Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish Church are already preparing for a procession on Friday.
Law enforcers and life guards are deployed to ensure the safety of the tourists. Further, the municipality of Malay along with other groups already began the clean-up drive.
