Baste Duterte left for Singapore amid upcoming boxing match

Acting Davao City Mayor Baste Duterte has flown to Singapore Friday despite his upcoming charity boxing match against Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III.
An information from the Bureau of Immigration, shared by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) said Mayor Duterte left for Singapore accompanied by members of his family and staff Friday morning via Davao International Airport.
Duterte is supposed to have a charity boxing match against PNP chief Torre at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Manila on Sunday.
Torre accepted the challenges after the younger Duterte posted in his vlog uploaded in You Tube wanting to have a fistfight against the police official.
Duterte, however, gave a condition to Torre for the bout to push through. He said President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. should direct all officials to undergo a hair follicle drug test.
