Malacañang said it will give Presidential Medal of Merit award to the late actress-singer Nora Aunor, singer Pilita Corrales, renowed Filipino Chef Margarita Fores, and actress Gloria Romero.

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., will led the ceremony on May 4 in Malacanang.

The Presidential Merit Award is one of the highest awards conferred by a Philippine President to individuals in recognition of their contribution to nation-building.
