Budget carrier Cebu Pacific on Wednesday announced the launch of its direct flights between Iloilo and Bangkok starting next month, with P1 one-way promotional base fares available for booking this week.

In an advisory, Cebu Pacific said its Iloilo-Bangkok (Don Mueang) flights will start on March 31, 2025, and will be available three times a week—Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

The P1 one-way base fare will be available from Wednesday, February 12, until Sunday, February 16, 2025, covering flights from March 31 to October 25, 2025.

“Strengthening our Iloilo hub allows us to connect even more passengers from the Western Visayas region to exciting destinations across our international network,” Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer Xander Lao said.

The carrier currently flies to 37 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.

Cebu Pacific last July announced plans to purchase over 150 aircraft from Airbus for $24 billion or P1.4 trillion, making the biggest aircraft order in Philippine aviation history.

The company earlier said it expected to close 2024 with 95 aircraft, which would boost its full-year 2024 seat capacity by 12% to 15% compared to 2023.
