5 in 10 satisfied with VP Sara performance at end of 2025-SWS

A non-commissioned survey by Social Weather Stations (SWS) released recently showed that satisfaction rating of Vice President Sara Duterte was at 54 percent by November 2025, around four months after the Supreme Court blocked the impeachment complaints against her.
The survey also suggested that 26 percent of Filipinos were dissatisfied with her performance during that period, bringing the vice president’s net satisfaction rating to “moderate” +28.
Her net satisfaction score in November 2025 was up by 6 points from “moderate” +22 in September 2025, the survey firm noted.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., Duterte’s former ally, had a 40 percent satisfaction rating during the same period, while 43 percent were dissatisfied by his performance, SWS report showed.
This resulted in a net satisfaction rating of -3 for the president, classified by the pollster as “neutral.”
Duterte’s net satisfaction score rose in the Visayas and Balance Luzon at “good” +41 and “neutral” +9, respectively, SWS said, noting Duterte’s Metro Manila rating was at “neutral net zero.”
It added that the the gross rating of the vice president, who hails from Davao City, stayed “highest” in Mindanao at “excellent” +70.
Compared to September 2025, the vice president’s net satisfaction rating jumped by 10 points from “neutral” -1 in Balance Luzon and by 9 points from “good” +32 in the Visayas, the opinion pollster noted.
“It fell slightly by 3 points from neutral +3 in Metro Manila, while it barely moved from very good +69 in Mindanao,” it said.
SWS further noted that compared to September 2025, Duterte’s net satisfaction rating “stayed moderate” in urban areas, which grew by 11 points from +10 to +21.
Her score meanwhile “stayed good” in rural areas after a 3-point bump from +32 to +35.
Notably, the vice president became popular among aged 18-24 during the survey period, many of whom belong to Generation Z or Gen Zs.
“Compared to September 2025, Vice-President Duterte’s net satisfaction rating rose by 32 points from moderate +17 to good +49 among the 18-24-year-olds,” SWS said.
Meanwhile, Duterte’s rating increased by 10 points from “moderate” +19 to also “moderate” +29 among the 45-54-year-olds.
“However, it fell by 6 points from very good +52 to good +46 among the 25-34-year-olds,” it said.
The same survey also found that 46 percent were satisfied and 30 percent were dissatisfied with Senate President Vicente ”Tito” Sotto III.
Meanwhile, 33 percent expressed satisfaction while 28 percent were dissatisfied with the performance of House Speaker Faustino ”Bojie” Dy III.
Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo had a 36 percent and 27 percent satisfaction and dissatisfaction scores, respectively.
The SWS survey was conducted from November 24 to 30, 2025, using face-to-face interviews of 1,200 adults aged 18 nationwide.
It has a sampling error margin of ±3 percent for national percentages and ±6 percent each for Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao.
