President Ferdinand ”Bongbong” Marcos Jr. is looking for someone who has integrity and who is fair as the next Secretary of Justice.

Malacañang said there is no information yet as to the replacement of former Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin ”Boying” Remulla, who took his oath last week as the Ombudsman.

Malacanang added that the President wants someone who has integrity, dependable, impartial, and fair.

Justice Undersecretary Fredderick Vida was earlier said to be the acting chief of the DOJ following Remulla’s appointment to the Ombudsman post.

Vida is the DOJ’s undersecretary in charge of finance, administrative service, and personnel cluster.
