House of Representatives revoked the travel clearance of Ako Bicol Party-list Representative Elizaldy Co. and ordered his immediate return to the country and face his alleged involvement in the anomalous flood control projects.

In a letter dated September 18, Speaker Faustino “Bojie” Dy III has formally ordered Co to fly back to the Philippines within 10 days after receipt of the notice.

“Please be advised that your existing Travel Clearance for your personal trip is

“Failure to comply with this directive within the prescribed period shall be construed as a refusal to subject yourself to the lawful processes of the House of Representatives and may result in the initiation of appropriate disciplinary and legal actions. Your immediate and strict compliance is expected,” it added.

Co is allegedly in the United States for medical treatment, according to House spokesperson and lawyer Princess Abante.
