Two people were killed after a civilian helicopter crashed in Pililla, Rizal Tuesday morning.

Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) said the incident occurred at around 7:27 a.m. in Upper Barak, Barangay Quisao.

Based on the initial report, the five people on the chopper were immediately brought to the Rizal Provincial Hospital in Morong for treatment.

Pilillla, Rizal Mayor John Masinsin said initial reports show that there are five passengers including two foreign nationals.

Masinsin said aside from the fatalities, one passenger is critically injured, while the other two suffered minor injuries and now in stable condition.

The Rizal PPO said coordination is ongoing with concerned agencies to determine the cause of the crash and to ensure public safety in the area.
